What Items Can I List On Your Marketplace?
We accept listings of untreated second-hand diamond jewelry with a listing value over $500.00 or GIA certified diamonds that have been removed from pre-owned jewelry. All recycled loose diamonds over .75 carats that are certified by another grading agency may be listed with a seller disclosure on the marketplace.
What If I Don’t Have A GIA Certificate For My Diamond?
A member of our team can help with a listing value for your uncertified item. We recommend all loose diamonds over 1 ct be certified by GIA. An uncertified item may be listed with a seller disclosure.
Do You Buy Items Directly?
We do not currently buy items directly. Instead, we’re proud to offer a secure marketplace to connect buyers and sellers.
Do You Allow the Listing of Chipped Or Damaged Diamonds on Your Marketplace?
To preserve the integrity of our marketplace, we do not.
Do You Allow The Listing Of Fracture-filled Diamonds?
No. The Diamocycle Marketplace is for 100% untreated items. All items will be tested in a lab to make sure they are free from treatments.
Is My Diamond Secure While In Transit?
Absolutely! While in transit we insure your item with Fed-Ex, and while in our labs, we use JM Shipping Solutions to ensure the safety of your item.
Items are insured at the value of the accepted offer when sold in the marketplace.
How Does A Diamond Setting Affect Value?
Every listing is unique. We will have our experts guide you through the value of prescribing a value to your used setting.
Can I Use An Appraisal To Help Establish a Marketplace Price for My Item?
Unfortunately not. While appraisals are handy for determining the retail, insurance, or replacement value of an item, they do not reflect the price a buyer will pay for a pre-owned diamond jewelry item.
How Does Diamocycle Calculate The Marketplace Listing Price Of My Loose Diamond or Diamond Jewelry Item?
We use a formula that is based on the overnight spot price of a diamond. We pride ourselves on recommending a price that is competitive and usually higher than a consumer might find were they to sell their items for an immediate cash offer or through an auction platform.
If I Am Paying via Wire Transfer, How Do I Receive the Wire Payment Instructions?
If you’re paying by wire transfer, you will receive a call from our official number with wire payment instructions. Diamocycle will NEVER send you instructions for payment of a wire by email.
